STEVEN

I’m a personal trainer and rehab specialist with a background in dance and a deep understanding of how the body moves—and how it breaks down. My sessions are designed to teach clients how to feel exactly what they’re supposed to in each exercise, building body awareness alongside strength.

After years of dealing with persistent lower back, knee, and hip pain, I transitioned into functional mobility and progressive strength work: kettlebells, barbell training, and advanced calisthenics. Since then, I’ve achieved strength milestones like 90lb single-leg squats, 90lb pull-ups, a 2.25x bodyweight deadlift, and bodyweight skills like the human flag and handstand.

As I resolved my own pain, I became committed to helping others move better and get stronger—without having to choose between physical therapy and real training.

About half of my clients are recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or bridging the gap between rehab and strength. Many come in after years of discomfort and failed PT attempts—and within a few months, are surprised to find their persistent pain finally easing.

The other half are everyday people—desk workers, weekend warriors, and active older adults—looking to build mobility, strength, and lasting resilience. With older adults, I focus on balance, strength for daily function, and longevity.

My approach blends elements of yoga, Pilates, ballet, kettlebell and barbell strength, adult gymnastics, and corrective exercise. I’ve collaborated with physical therapists from Spear, Memorial Sloan Kettering, G5 Sports Performance, and the Postural Restoration Institute—helping clients pre-habilitate before surgery or rebuild strength and confidence afterward.

Whether you’re coming back from pain or ready to level up your training, I’ll meet you where you are. My focus is on education first—teaching you to feel what matters, move with intention, and train in a way that actually works for your body.
